The word Iris means rainbow. Iris is the flower of the Greek goddess Iris who is the messenger of Love. In the language of flowers Iris symbolizes eloquence. Irises come in many colors such as blue and purple, white and yellow, pink and orange, brown and red, and even black. Aquilegia.

Aquilegia ( columbine) is a genus of about 60-70 species of perennial plants . The name Aquilegia is derived from the Latin word for eagle (aquila), because the shape of the flower petals which resemble an eagle’s claw.
