A very special flower that of Tricyrtis.    .    .  Tricyrtis is a genus in the lily family (Lilaceae) commonly called “toad lilies”. These perennial herbaceous plants, native to Asia, but is widely grown, are generally found in shady conditions on the edge of forests.The star-like blossoms of this species are white with rich purple spots and purple stigmas. Alstroemeria commonly called the Peruvian lily or lily of the Incas, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Alstroemeriaceae.Many hybrids and at least 190 cultivars have been developed, featuring many different markings and colors, including white, yellow, orange, apricot, pink, red, purple, and lavender. Amanita vaginata, commonly known as the grisette, is an edible mushroom in the Amanitaceae family of fungi.Although not poisonous, most authors advise against consumption due to the possibility of mistaking other poisonous species of Amanita for it. This is my blue.
