This flower, very special for color and form, is called “Tradescantia” a genus of 75 species of herbaceous perennial plants. Native to the New World they were introduced into Europe as ornamental plants in the seventeenth century.Very easy to grow in Italy is also known as “grass misery.” Very simple but very special!Photo © Daniela Serra – All Rights Reserved
