The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Sites are places of importance cultural or natural. Italy has a total of 51 inscribed properties. Sardinia (Italy). The colors of traditional costumes

The festival of Sant’Efisio takes place every year on 1st May and is a magical celebration of faith and folklore, the sacred and the profane. A festival rich in colours, costumes, tradition ; the long procession: 3500 inhabitants of the island dressed in traditional costumes from every town and village and more than 200 riders on horseback.On the day of the festival people from all over the island gather together in Cagliari to take part in the procession.
