Anemone

Anemone coronaria is widely grown for its decorative flowers. There are approximately 150 species of Anemone. These flowers are also commonly called “windflowers”, and this second name is derived from the Greek word which means “the wind’s daughter”.The Anemone can be red, blue, purple or white.This is my red.      .        .             .  Photo © Daniela Serra – All Rights Reserved
