Sardinia. Traditions and colors.Every year since 1656 on the first of May the Sardinian people, wearing their traditional costumes, take the statue of their Saint Efisio in procession to thank him for ridding Cagliari (Italy)  of the plague. An annual religious festival but also a festival of colors of great beauty.   .          .                        .                 .        .             . Photo © Daniela Serra – All Rights Reserved
